In this series, we took to the NH1D connecting Leh and Srinagar bordering the volatile Pakistan.

Alchi Monastery
Likir Monastery
We visited the beautiful Nubra Valley over two days passing the Highest Motorable Pass in the World, Khardung La.
In addition to this, we also visited Diskit Monastery, Bactrian Camels & Sand Dunes at Hunder, Hot Water Springs at Panamik and Yarab Tso Lake.
We also followed the mighty Shayok River most of the journey.
The last attraction in our list was Pangong Tso aka Pangong Lake and Man and Merak Villages south of Spangmik.
On our way we visited Shey and Thicksey Monasteries too.
